Transform Finance brought together senior leaders from the banking and insurance sectors to discuss the latest innovations and share insight on economic recovery, technology innovations, big data, Artificial Intelligence and machine learning.
KX took part in two panel discussions both focussing on the adoption of the cloud to leverage big data analytics. These sessions highlighted that we are on the brink of significant but positive change.
Hosted by Kathy Schneider, CMO KX, the panel of Brian Stephenson, Co-Founder of Pegasus Enterprise Solutions, Jamil Ahmed, Director at Solace, Mark Etherington, CTO at Crux Informatics and Dan Seal, Chief Product Officer, KX provided some very interesting insights into the current status of cloud migration including the challenges it poses, the opportunities it provides and the developments we should expect to see across them.
Moderated by technology journalist Madeline Bennet this session focussed on how banks can best prepare for extracting insights from the vast amounts of data they currently have. The advice, from the panel of David Masters, Chief Data Officer at Société Générale, Jason Maude, Chief Technology Advocate at Starling Bank and Peter Moylan, Head of European Software Revenue at KX, fell broadly into two categories: data preparation and connectivity.
