Instant, powerful interactive data visualization

Machine Learning techniques are changing the surveillance methodology from being lag-indicator driven to lead-indicator driven where, like cyber security, the focus is detection of intent and threat avoidance rather than after-the-event conviction when the financial and reputational damage has already been done. Machine Learning techniques like Natural Language Processing (NLP) can also be used in the investigation phases to parse documents, texts and other communications to uncover suspicious activity and assist in the prosecution phase by providing corroborating evidence.

Ashok Reddy
Chief Executive Officer
Ashok Reddy
Chief Executive Officer

Ashok Reddy, as the CEO of KX, applies his wide-ranging experience with Fortune 500 companies, leading banks and firms worldwide to foster a better understanding and use of AI systems. His main focus rests on the often overlooked, yet fundamental, concept of temporal reasoning in AI, i.e., the system’s ability to understand the relationships between events over time.

Ashok recognizes that the current design of many AI systems does not fully harness the potential of time-dependent data. He advocates for AI’s broader problem-solving and decision-making capacities by integrating temporal reasoning, thereby equipping these systems to tackle dynamic real-world scenarios more efficiently.

In the world of AI, Ashok emphasizes not just the technology itself but also its symbiotic relationship with humans. He believes AI is meant to augment human capabilities, not replace them, and champions a future where AI’s analytical skills and humans’ intuitive understanding work in harmony.

Ashok Reddy is dedicated to making a tangible difference in the AI field. He seeks to enhance AI’s capacity through temporal reasoning and is passionate about fostering a more collaborative future between humans and AI, where each entity benefits from the other’s strengths.

    Why Kx Automotive?

Data requirements in the automotive industry are particularly challenging, not only in terms of volume and latency, but also in terms of the reliability and precision necessary to deliver both high-performance and safety on road, track and production line. Electric vehicles, Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), traffic services and 5G connectivity will simply add to the deluge of data the industry must accommodate. Kx for Automotive can handle these volumes with ease and provide unparalleled response time to queries and analytics. The solution is powered by Kx, the world’s fastest time-series database.

Kx can capture, store and process millions of events and measurements per second, gigabytes to petabytes of historical data with nanosecond precision, more efficiently and cost-effectively than any available alternatives. Proven across many industries, from finance to high tech manufacturing, Kx is the standard for time-series data management and processing.

“Time series data is the data and information that we acquire from sensors, that might be attached to a wind tunnel model, or indeed a race car. It’s a difficult problem to solve because the sensors acquire a lot of data in a very short space of time. When we started to think about how we were going to solve this problem in our next-generation system for the wind tunnel, we took a look at what the financial services industry did to solve the same problem with market data. When we searched the market, Kx stood out as the industry leader.” Daniel Hurst, Aero Technology Development Team Leader, Aston Martin Red Bull Racing.
