KX technology is designed to capture and analyze data to make real-time decisions in a world where data volumes generated by markets and machines are increasing exponentially, and existing technologies fail due to technological or commercial limitations.
KX is widely adopted throughout the financial industry and is poised for accelerated growth across high-tech manufacturing, automotive, oil and gas, utilities, and telecommunications.
To meet the growing demand for our technology and services, we are hoping to add KX Technical Evangelists to our wider KX Team.
The KX Evangelism Team is a unique function within KX that allows successful candidates to apply their technical skills to creating content (presentations/demonstrations) for developer audiences. Given the nature of our audience, we place a strong emphasis on continual learning and staying current with the technologies being used within our clients and wider industry.
Placement within the team carries a high level of public visibility in part due to the ongoing interaction with clients, as well as presenting at conferences and other institutions.
This team also carries high internal visibility as we often work closely with various stakeholders in R&D, Sales, Marketing and Customer Success.
In KX, we have both a great technology and an exciting tech roadmap we want to highlight and showcase – this is the focus of the Evangelism Function.
The role of a developer (or Technical) Evangelist centers around communicating the merits of a given technology to tech-literate audiences.
Technical Evangelism involves presenting your created demonstrations within several forums:
Internally across functions
Externally to KX client developers – showcasing the latest and greatest
Externally to developer audiences at conferences or other speaking events e.g. Meetups.
Other responsibilities will include the co-ordination of the regional KX Meetup group in conjunction with the global team and once monthly delivery of our free public one-day introductory workshop.
