We have a great opportunity of Commercial Analyst to join our team. KX is looking for a high performing individual with either a commercial or financial background ready to take a career enhancing next step into a critical function of a successful software business. The role of Commercial Analyst is to provide commercial and financial analysis on all go-to-market activity which drives management action and decision making during an exciting period of growth.

Reporting to the Head of Sales Operations and partnering with Finance and Marketing operations to drive growth, you’ll help us on a wide array of varied and exciting aspects of a growing and dynamic software division.

The Role:
  • Pipeline monitoring and reporting: Own and operate regular pipeline monitoring including deal values and deal volume by region, product and vertical.
  • Deal closure: booking of software deals and being internal expert on ARR recognition against policy.
  • Deal desk: support pricing, structuring and commercial analysis of complex deals.
  • Commissions, quotas and sales compensation: Supporting the planning and operationalisation of sales quotas.
  • KPI Reporting: Reporting to the Exec team all related KPIs around ARR and productivity. Spot and investigate errors to ensure accuracy.
  • Forecasting and planning: supporting regular quarterly and annual forecasting and planning cycles.
  • Data Analysis: Help with ad-hoc data analysis projects, including pulling, analyzing and summarizing data and making recommendations.
  • Processes and tooling: Help select and implement new tools to help us run more efficiently.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to promote and drive efficiencies for and growth.
  • Strategic initiatives: Help drive projects and initiatives focused on improving productivity and simplifying processes for the Go-to-market organization.

 

Criteria:
  • Relevant experience may include Commercial Analyst, Corporate Finance Analyst, Sales Operations Analyst, Revenue
  • Analyst, and/or strong experience working in a modern software business.
  • A successful candidate: Has a lot of Initiative, detail orientation, strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task, and willingness to learn new things.
  • Can demonstrate commercial acumen; highly analytical with strong written and oral communication skills; fluent in spoken and written English.
  • Has ability to work independently and demonstrate good judgment in a fast paced environment.
  • Strong MS Excel skills, comfortable with Powerpoint, experience with SalesForce and Clari an advantage but not essential.
  • Is a team player; will always pitch in and have a can-do attitude.
