Data interchange with JSON

Fintan Quill has been speaking at recent Kx Community Meetups highlighting, among other things, the major performance improvements in our JSON support in kdb+ version 3.3, which also now has Unicode support.

JSON was available in version 3.2 but now the parser is implemented inside the executable itself directly in C; it is about 50 to 100 times faster and conforms to the JSON standard. This also facilitates loading and saving tables in JSON, just as you can do with CSV tables already. For more information read about JSON in the WebSockets entry on
