kx2007The Kx2007 International Users Conference at Dromoland Castle in County Clare, Ireland, May 23-25, 2007, was attended by a sold-out crowd of Kx customers and programmers. Participants were able to network with Kx and FD executives and experience the hospitality of this unique historical venue while gaining technical information and training from fellow customers and internal Kx executives.

Dromoland Castle

The event sessions were lead by customers who shared new implementation techniques and gave demonstrations of how they were using Kx products and technology in highly competitive environments with extreme application requirements. Guests also had the opportunity to sharpen their kdb+ programming skills, and receive a preview of new features to come from Kx and First Derivatives.

Cliffs of Moher

The three day event included a side trip to Ireland's incomparable Cliffs of Moher and a golf game on the Dromoland country club's challenging course, which was designed by J. B. Carr and Ron Kirby. Special thanks to our sponsor, Intel, and to everyone else who participated in the event, making it a grand success.

One attendee summed it up this way:
"It was a great three days, and the speakers had some really fascinating things that got me thinking hard. Superb organisation coupled with the awesome location will prove hard to top next time I think."
